Eureka Springs

With my sister and her husband living so far away in Missouri we are not able to see them very often. Visits are either during Thanksgiving, Christmas, or weddings; which equals not enough sister time!

Kevin and I have been planning a trip to visit Jennifer and Curtis since forever and a day ago and that day has finally arrived! To make a long driving trip not feel so long we broke up our trip going up to Missouri. We left San Antonio and stayed our first night in Arlington and continued our drive the next day up to Eureka Springs, Arkansan. The drive was very pretty, I got a good nap in, and we were a day closer to seeing my sister!

Eureka Springs is a very small town know for multiple springs that the original founders discovered. The springs were thought to have healing powers which attracted many settlers. Now, Eureka Springs attracts tourist for shopping, seeing the springs, and the Gingerbread style homes.
