Weekend in the Sun
This past weekend was a lot of fun. We started our weekend off with a river trip. Kevin's old fraternity brothers came to New Braunfels and we floated the Comal River twice. The river wasn't too crowded and we only had one tube issue the whole trip. On Sunday, we met up with my parents, Jennifer, and Curtis at Lake LBJ. We went fishing and went out on the jet ski. We had a lot of fun, but didn't take any pictures and our burns were not that bad either!

Welcome to the World
My dear friend Meredith became a mom yesterday! Caiden James Patrick was born on August 3rd at 4:45 p.m. He is a big boy weighing 8 lb 11 oz and 21 inches. I can't wait to see Caiden and Meredith in person and to hold him!

Take Me Out to the Ball Game...

At the old ball game."
Saturday was date night to the San Antonio Mission's baseball game. The Missions won 11-6. It was a fast hitting game and we had great seats. Our seats were between home plate and first base and right behind the dugout. I have never sat in seats so close. During the game we saw the Purnell's and we spent the most of the game talking to them. It was a very fun date night to start wrapping up summer vacation!
