3 Months Old

Wyatt turned 3 months old on July 15th.  He is getting to be so strong.  Wyatt holds his head up on his own and has really gotten into a schedule.  He is a great sleeper at night and is becoming so aware of his toys.  Kevin and I love him so much!

Cousin Time

My sister and I have always been really close.  It was so exciting when she moved back to San Antonio and it was such a neat thing to be pregnant at the same time.  Now that both of our boys have been born, we can have play dates together!

George and Wyatt meeting each other for the first time.

Double love from Mimi!

Play time!

I can't wait for these boys to become best friends and to meet their cousin Linus!

Kicking Cancer's Butt

My Pawpaw said it perfectly, "We are in the home stretch."

These past few weeks mom has been fighting her cancer head on and has received her bone marrow transplant.  She had two days of strong intense chemo that has completely wiped out her immune system and then received her bone marrow transplant that took less than an hour to get.

Mom will recover from her transplant at home and go to the doctor everyday so they can monitor her recovery.  The recovery process will be slow and there will be bumps along the way, but the power of prayer is an amazing healing tool.  Mom had to be readmitted to the hospital for the weekend, but now has been released.  The chemo has now taken mom's hair from her, but on a positive note her stem cells are beginning to graph.

Keep the prayers coming and I will keep you informed on how mom is doing.

Happy 4th of July

I know this is really late, but I had to put up these pictures.  I promise that one day I will figure out how to keep up with everything I want to post and being a new mommy!

Visiting Grandam, Grandpa, and Aunt Kathleen

We made our first trip to Arlington since the arrival of Wyatt.  It was for sure very different traveling with a 2 month old baby and 2 dogs.  It is amazing how much more you need to take with you by adding just one more to the mix.

Wyatt did a great job being in the car so long.

While we were in Arlington, we spent most of our time at the Heinze household.  Wyatt was loved on by his grandparents and aunt.  He even got to meet his great grandma!

Kevin's family had a Sip and See one day for their friends to meet Wyatt and he managed to fall asleep during the middle of it when it was the loudest.

We had a great time in Arlington and look forward to our next trip!

Time Flies By...

A lot has happened in the last 2 months so here is a brief summary to catch everyone up.

Kevin and I became parents.

I wrapped up the school year and got my classroom ready for the summer plus threw a babyshower for Jennifer.

Kevin and I are now official home owners and we have painted 2 rooms in our home (more pictures to come soon).

Wyatt turned 2 months old.  He is starting to "talk" to us and gives lots of smiles.

Kevin and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary.

We celebrated Kevin's first Father's Day.

And we are now an Aunt and Uncle!  George Richard Casey was born on Sunday, June 24.

Life is keeping us busy!
