One year ago, on April 15, 2012, our lives were forever changed with this little blessing. Our lives are so different now, and it is hard to imagine what life was like without Wyatt in it. This year has flown by, and it has been amazing to watch Wyatt grow and change in such a short time period. Wyatt Scott has brought nothing but love in our lives the minute we found out I was pregnant.

We celebrated Wyatt's birthday on a Saturday and his actual birthday was on a Monday. Even though I know he will not remember this birthday, I wanted to make it very special. I took the day off to spend it with my little boy and I am so glad that I did.
To kick off Wyatt's birthday, we decorated his door the night before so we could start off the morning celebrating! After singing
Happy Birthday, Kevin got Wyatt out of his crib. Wyatt was not so sure at first about crawling through his door, but he soon loved the balloons.

Happy Birthday to Wyatt. Wyatt enjoyed donut holes for breakfast.
Once we got dressed, Wyatt and I went to the park for a stroller ride and to play in the park. I cannot get over how big he looks and his super long hair.
After the park, we went to lunch with Mimi. Mimi got Wyatt his first happy meal at McDonald's. The ice machine was very interesting to listen to.
By the time Wyatt woke up from his afternoon nap, Kevin was home from work and we gave Wyatt his birthday present, really big blocks. We made lots of towers and Wyatt had so much fun knocking them all down.
For dinner, Wyatt had one of his favorites, mac-n-cheese and a little bit of cookie for dessert.
