Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

On Christmas Eve, we went to the family service at our church.  I loved being able to take Wyatt and  didn't feel bad when he started making noise because all the other kids were making noise too.  After the service we went back to our house for dinner.

Wyatt enjoyed Christmas cookies and opened his new PJ's.

We scattered reindeer food for all of Santa's reindeer and then we went to bed.

Christmas morning was full of excitement and Wyatt had big eyes for all of his new toys.  He enjoyed unwrapping the presents and playing with the paper and boxes.

Unfortunately, Kevin came down with a nasty virus so he spent Christmas day sick in bed.  Wyatt and I went to my parents house for the day, but it just wasn't the same without Dada.

Merry Christmas from The Heinzes!

Mommy's Little Helper

Right around Thanksgiving Wyatt became very interested in what I was doing in the kitchen.  Just handing him a bowl and a spatula will no longer due.  Wyatt now likes to pull up a kitchen chair to watch and assist me in the kitchen.

Visiting Santa

Kevin and I predicted that this year Wyatt would probably not be a huge fan of Santa.  We went to Bass Pro Shop and waited a very long time.

We took some pictures...

Went on the carousel multiple times...

Made a craft...

And met Santa...

Wyatt did not sit in Santa's lap.  He stood there screaming at us and yelling, "Dada!"  This will be one of my favorite pictures.  Merry Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent Thanksgiving in San Antonio this year.  Wyatt loved the cranberry jello salad and of course the mashed potatoes.  Wyatt was also a big help in the kitchen this year.  He loved standing on a chair to watch mom and me bake pies.  I have a new helper in the kitchen!

A day after Thanksgiving, Kevin's family came to town.  We enjoyed some BBQ and went Santa's Ranch to look at Christmas lights.
