Life as a 4 Month Old...

Wyatt turned 4 months old in August.   There were a lot of firsts during this month, including starting daycare.

This was Wyatt's first time to try rice cereal and to sit in his highchair.  He wasn't so sure about it at first, but now loves it!  Wyatt is now eating rice and oatmeal cereal.

Wyatt is starting to hold his bottle on his own.

We have set up the big jumper.  Wyatt will sit and just jump and jump.

Wyatt is so close to rolling over.  Once he figures out how to put down his arm down we will be having a boy who is on the move!

Our little man is getting so strong.  He holds his head up so well and stands on his legs when we help hold him up.

Wyatt loves his dogs, especially Macy May.  Macy is so sweet with him.  She will lay next to Wyatt while he pets and pulls on her fur.  Leroy is not as interested in Wyatt, but Wyatt loves to track Leroy with his eyes and follow him by turning his head.

Our little baby is not so little anymore.  He is starting to pack on the pounds and he is getting a little chunky.

Wyatt his just like his daddy and loves to be outside.  Wyatt will calm down when he is outside, give big smiles, and giggle.  He is taking in the world around him.

We love this little man and can't believe how much he has grown and developed in just 4 months!

The Great Grandparents...

Believe it or not, Wyatt has 7 great grandparents!  He is such a lucky guy to have that many great grandparents that love him so much.  Some of the great grandparents got to meet him right away, while others were very patient and had to wait a tad bit longer to meet Mr. Wyatt.

Nana was the first great grandparent to meet Wyatt.  She drove down from Austin and was one of the first few people to get to hold him in the NICU.

Granna and Grandpa met our little man the first week he was born.  We went to their house and I would say they fell in love the moment they saw him.  Granna likes to tells everyone that his is absolutely perfect.

Nana and Pawpaw came to visit Wyatt while he was still just a little guy.  Nana has a very calm manner  where Wyatt just fall asleep on her and Nana is on and off the floor getting up and down to play with him.  I loved seeing Pawpaw hold Wyatt for the first time.  Pawpaw has lost his vision over the years and is no longer able to see.  Pawpaw used his hands to touch Wyatt's face like he was using them to see him.  It was such a sweet thing to watch.  Pawpaw will also brag that Wyatt took almost an hour long nap while he was holding him.

Wyatt was able to meet Am-ma when we took our first big car trip to Arlington.  She was so excited to come over to hold him.  Am-ma had such a big role in Kevin's life and I think he was even more excited for his Am-ma to meet his little boy.  Am-ma has such motherly instincts and I loved watching her give Wyatt a bottle.  She kept saying that Wyatt was so strong.

Nanaw and Pa were the last set of great grandparents to meet Wyatt.  We took a trip to Miles and Wyatt made his debut there.  It was so cute to watch Pa make all sorts of noises to entertain Wyatt and Nanaw would walk around with him whenever he got fussy and take him outside.  Wyatt is just like his daddy and loves to be outside.

I can't wait for Wyatt to spend more time with these very special 7 people.
