Last year, we went to the Gaylord in Grapevine with Mike and Jen to see the ice exhibit that the Gaylord puts on every year. We had so much fun last year that we decided that we should make it a Heinze/ Keffer tradition. This years theme was Charlie Brown.
Kevin and I got to the Gaylord before Mike and Jen so we wandered around the hotel. The hotel kind of makes me think of a Vegas casino, minus the gambling and more. The Gaylord is decked out with Christmas themes everywhere including Santa himself.
Big Christmas tree lit up...
Model train sets running throughout the hotel...
Santa and his reindeer...
And a HUGE gingerbread man house made out of nothing, but candy...
Of course the main attraction is the ice. When Mike and Jen arrived, we made our way to wait in line to view the ice. Last year, waiting in line was the part that took the longest, but this year it wasn't that bad. The line went fast and we even saw former Dallas Cowboy Troy Aikman.
Once the got our parkas on it was time for the ice!

The Whole Group...
The End...
The ice was fun, but it was nice to get back inside the hotel to warm up. It was cold!
Fun pictures! I want to go! Especially for that slide!
